You don’t need to walk to satisfy the watch, just bounce your arm up and down. I noticed that I get steps in while driving because of turns but not while pushing a shopping cart. The watch does not care if I move, only if my arm moves up and down.
I have put my Fitbit in my pocket so it would track leg movements instead of arm movements.
I was the kind of kid who constantly squirmed and moved in my seat in class. I couldn’t help it, I could not sit still. Later learned that kids did that due to normal growing. So forcing kids to sit still in those uncomfortable desks for hours is next to torture.
I always thot it was completely unnatural for a bunch of little kids to sit quietly in neat, orderly rows for hours on end without the urge to get up and move around. Our expectation that they should have to do so Monday thru Friday for a dozen years probably goes a long way toward explaining our obesity epidemic.

That may be a first for Caulfield. Though we do quite often see him doing/saying things that obviously took quite a bit of prep time.

The look on his class mates! I’m guessing Caulfield gets some interesting feedback at recess.

Held back by a sense of self-preservation. :-)

Caulfield has some sense after all! The walk to the Principal’s office would also register on his fit bit.

These kids, or their parents, apparently have a lot of money.

That “something” is a well-developed sense of self preservation.
