These guys should call the Jags owner Khan and make arrangements for both teams to play all their home games in the UK at Wembley or Tottenham. Heck, Khan tried to buy Wembley last year. They would get big sellout crowds who do not really seem to care if the team is going to go 3-14……
Someone in the Jacksonville media actually proposed this model back when rumors were flying about the Jags moving to the UK: the Jags would play 4 straight games in London: 2 would be home games and 2 would be away vs teams burning their international away game obligations. The Jags would use their bye week after the 4 games in London.

The last panel reminds me of the scene in “Bull Durham” where the players sneak into the ballpark and cause a “rainout”…

Sounds like something the Bears would do. Nobody there has a clue about running a football team :-[

Rain makes the field more slippery and slides you to the touchdown.

That trick about leaving the stadium roof open isn’t going to work tomorrow with the Seahawks. Considering that the Seahawks hometown is rain city.
