@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , but set in a tech age , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp only likes modern tech if his mother in law stays away :o) my avatar is a picture of a toothbrush having a dirty job , the TP begs to differ , :o) how was your day? our day should be a little busy but we will cope I hope , we both are in a good mood no shopping to do or errands to run , just wait to phone the Local Council , to get the bulky refuse guys to come pick up our old refrigerator , we are staying inside the house because it’s too windy outside , just keep hydrated , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady

OK.. This one is good and uses the new technology as part of the joke. Credit given, when credit’s due.

My wife has an agreement with her 2 sisters to share taking car of her mother. We just finished 5 months (was supposed to be 4) and Mom went back to her preferred home (she was supposed to go to her oldest daughter’s home but that’s a long story). I think my wife is happier to see her go than I am (though I am happy to have our house to ourselves again).

People have forgotten the Lord “commands” to Honor thy Mother and Father. Yet expect gate of Heaven to swing wide open for them. That applies too In Laws as well. Pick and choose. Poor Andy.

Hey, Affie.

I went for an induction at my volunteering today. It only took over an hour.

I was also made aware of the Volunteer Christmas Party next Tuesday. The only party I knew about was for the staff this Friday.

I want to make it clear that I’m not miserable, I love Christmas but I tend to avoid work Christmas parties/gatherings whatever you want to call it. I’d just rather be at home on an evening. I did tell her that I’m unable to make it which is kind of true because I’m giving blood that day.

I repeat, I am not miserable. Just an introvert. Anyway I am there tomorrow at my usual time.
