MARK TRAIL: Mark has a lesson about crypto currancy today, i.e. the digital currency that is generated by a process called “mining.” Mark tells us about the negative impact that the “bitcoin mining”has on the environment. Not in the MT comic but in a USA Today article that I read in mid-December, the Chinese government banned all crypto currency mining in June of this year, so that pushed such operations abroad and the USA has been a top landing spot! Good for Mark for bringing up this important environmental topic!!!!
