Ah-an unexpected opportunity to continue yesterday’s rant. perceptive, I think, made it look larger in Sunday’s strip, but judging from the diameter of the amputated trunk, the the tree was somewhere a quarter & a half century old. (might as well count the rings now that you killed it; at least the kid will learn some basic botany, and just maybe the “adults” will reflect) Yes it’s meant to be a warm &fuzzy comic but this barbaric death of a living thing ‘cause a little over a hundred years ago it became a fad (quite a story behind that), well, what’s left to say… Pretty sure this Jesus guy (who has born in early spring;another story) is down with this? anxiously awaiting all the hate mail.
Hey, look at the upside- it will be a short break from the Rabid Right screeaching about all the attacks on poor Donny as seems to the current thing in comments for-well- ever these days.
