Totally, Wrong, Pete. Nuggets without sauce? Sandwiches without mayo? Vegetables without Ranch? Hot wings without Bleu Cheese? French Fries without catsup? Prime rib without horseradish? Ribs without sauce? It would be a sadder world than it already is!
Wow, is this an early Christmas present for us? Panel 1 is an extremely rare sighting of a smiling Petey with a look of happiness bordering on joy. It’s a Christmas miracle!
I would love the original paper, but walking out to half mile driveway to get the paper?? NO! I guess getting it digitally is good enough. And they want to know why print is dead? Tell the delivery person to deliver it to the front door. How hard is that?
Thanks to GoComics for running the Origin of the Comics which takes me back to my childhood Sundays and the Mayor of New York reading those to us via radio (quite before TV). The imagination and drawing were outrageously good.

I have a few complete Sunday comics pages from the early 1900s, found them at a thrift store
The pages aren’t really that big, but they are big and the comics are huge

Okay, what are the actual dimensions of the original artwork for this strip? Anybody know?

I’m from the Reagan era when school lunch catsup was considered a vegetable rather than a condiment.

Naturally, I’m gonna side with My Hero here. Condiments automatically mean “foods touching each other”!
Why, even in my memory, comics were two or three times larger than the postage stamps of nowadays….
