Making pine cone Christmas Trees, I’m surprised Miss Bliss hasn’t thought of that for a project…….

One year the Late and Unlamented kept putting off buying a tree. (I wasn’t working and didn’t have any money) When I left for Midnight Mass, there was still no tree. When the baby and I got home, there was a tree set up – which he expected me to decorate. He’d got out in the dark and stolen one from a Boy Scout lot. “What difference does it make? They can’t sell it now.”

You know what would make that card better, Dill? Lots of glue and glitter. (You’re welcome)

Sort of reminds me of one of our Christmas time stories, my old man comes home with a Charlie Brown like Christmas tree. It seemed he drank up the tree money he was given by my mom and brought one from what the hell was left of the money. He was a bastard, he was!

Beni the Downer! Dill is a problematic optimist. Alice is worried.

    Christmas will happen, Alice….
