Someone recommended this to me and I’ve been reading it from the beginning. The art is amazing and the characters are interesting. The seagull is a nice touch too. I just started to follow today in the middle of an arc. But Spud is being Spud I see.
Since I don’t see how the entire gang could have snuck out, I think hfelder7219 had the right idea ten days ago. My track record on predicting endings isn’t great though.

Ever efficient, Spud has bypassed all previous steps and moved on to hysterical screaming.

Preemptive panic on Spuds part. As of yet, no one has checked the hatch.

The seagull’s so panicked that it’s forgotten that it can fly for help and bring back someone that can save it from being trapped like that.

The seagull can fly and “ask” for help!

The Christmas lights are a nice touch surrounding the HELLLP.

As predicted by many, but only Spud can put the exclamation point just right.

I hope Dad remembers where they went. Mom is not going to be happy.

They should have taken the pumpkin.

You couldn’t have brought that up a little earlier, Amelia?

They are stuck on a rooftop. And it’s December 23. I sense a Christmas miracle on the way. Does anyone see a bright red light in the sky?

Even Rose thinks Spud might be overdoing it. I like her “What’s this fool doing now?” expression.

Check it out first, BEFORE screaming for help. Then Panic……

Subtlety, thy name is Spud.

Somebody else, not me, predicted this the day Dad told Wallace about the Secret Hatch. Good shot.

I love Rose’s expression

Spud’s only thinking about the large, extra-deluxe, double size Moxie he had at the snack bar before they came up.

Quick question. They are out in a snow storm without their coats. How are they not freezing to death right now?
