I seem to recall one musical number: One of the people the Ghost of Christmas Future showed looting Scrooge’s home when he dies sang a song, “Thank you very much. Thank you very much. That’s the nicest thing that anyone’s ever done for me…”

The version with Alistair Sim is the best.

I have seen that movie many, many times. But not the one with G.C.Scott nor Patrick Stewart.

You want singing? Try 1971’s Scrooge, with Albert Finney. My all-time favorite version of A Christmas Carol.

Nobody has talked about American Christmas Carol with Henry Winkler. A very good re-write.

I prefer the 1938 version of this movie and no other.
