Sedine sounds like she knows the curse Ellie’s summoning.

Number 49 is Hans Burga, I almost confused him for a woman in the 2nd panel. Also is saying “Wait a minute” enough to get Ellie to stop, she needs better focus than that if she’s dead-set on pulling this off.

Darkness beyond the blackest pitch, deeper than the deepest night…

“Thou that are darker than dusk”, so she’s calling out to midnight? Also I thought she believed her mission was a just one, why is she calling on dark forces?

Now she’s not only scaring her child and embarrassing the group, but she’s really trying to curse the team? Sedine’s going to stop her and I definitely don’t mind it.

That’s why Ellie hates on Clo-Chi….its competition for the “Professor of the Dark Arts” Class at Hogwarts.

Sedine, I mean Gryffindor to the rescue?

I thought Elle was going all Kill Bill on Hubbs, I guess its more like Drag me to Hell or The Craft..

I really love this football arc. All the amazing characters, the detail, the rules explanation, and of course our favorite gang and all their antics. This is truly amazing Bea and Mr. H. Great job. Now SAVE Hubbs and the game! Poor little Al looked so happy to finally see his Dad and his mom is making him sad. We need a miracle!

I’m kinda wondering if Ellie got hit hard in the head a LONG time ago to cause her ditziness. Hoping Sedine gives Ellie another hard hit in the head which will finally undo it and snap her out of it… after all, that is a trope occasionally used in comedy…
