I used to fight with my younger brothers, but when the chips were down, anybody who messed with one of us instantly got three! One time, my younger brother was in Aschaffenburg while I was stationed in Wiesbaden. I found out he was in trouble; off I went to help. He asked me to bring him back to his station to get some stuff. I took him,: I was in fatigues. I heard the troops say “F……..d’s back!” I looked at my brother and said “Which one; they got both of us.” When I turned around, his platoon leader and company commander looked at me, at him, back at me and said: " LT, are you Spec F……..d’s brother?" “Yes, sir, I am!” He was in deeper doodoo than I thought. But, when one’s in trouble, you help out blood…
