Let’s be grateful Zack didn’t get IKEA furniture.

A few years back I bought a gas grill that needed a lot of assembly. I sat on our living room floor, and for several contented hours studied the instructions and put it together without a hitch, ready for several seasons of grilling. I later discovered that Consumer Reports downgraded it because their staff had too much difficulty assembling it! However, I have a big advantage—I’m a maker: I can follow detailed recipes to make delicious meals, follow intricate patterns to knit and crochet complex designs, follow complicated plans to make wooden gifts. It’s all the same for me—I love to make stuff! Then I give most of it away, or sell it on Etsy so it’s a double win for me!
