If he wears that thing indoors, I for one will pretend we’ve never met.

For me it’s the insulted Carhart bibs and jacket. Coveralls always seem to cut me off at the pass if you know what I mean.

I have some excellent down-filled snow pants I made when I lived in Idaho Falls, ID. Haven’t needed them in thirty years, but they still hang in the closet.

‘Tuther day I pretty much resembled todays hero. We don’t get much snow here but any excuse to get a workout in. Spent the morning clearing out mine and the neighbors sidewalks plus got to visit with some brave souls who went for their daily walk. Anyway, got done went inside fired up the Kuerig for some hot chocolate when on the news they were broadcasting how people over 40 (guilty as charged) shouldn’t be out shoveling snow!

Never living in snow country, I did not know this was a thing. It must be expensive living in snow country: high heating bills, long johns, winter wardrobe, boots, fur hats & gloves, wool socks, mud rooms, sports car in garage with electric blanket, snow tires, snow chains for the winter vehicle, falling on ice = medical bills, vehicle sliding off the road or into another vehicle. The videos on YTube show how hard living is in such conditions. Also, all those stoopid Christmas movies depicting how romantic and easy it is to live like that.
