Our cat (recently departed) was sitting on our unlit woodstove staring at the chimney. A squirrel had climbed down the chimney, and was apparently resting. When the squirrel started its 300 mph ascent, our cat reverse teleported off of the woodstove. It looked just like the 90° track in the comic above. Priceless!
My wife and I were standing in the kitchen of the vacation rental, with our English Springer Spaniel Zachary on his leash. Zach, excited over the prospect of a RIDE, jumped flat footed to the countertop (42 inches).
Doing that stop, reorientate, start is quite a feat. Many a UFO has done that, and it is supposed to be physically impossible. Moving at right angles you would have to do that.

Ahh, yes. The infamous cat teleport. I’ve witnessed this twice in my life. It is a force not for humans to comprehend.

Okay. Well, actually. Me too. Though, the furballs sort of make me feel like being a cat isn’t really all it’s cracked up to be.

What’s really fun is being able to witness the few times they actually mess it up.

It’s plain to see the cat never studied physics.

Because they don’t give a rip about their owners but still get fed?
