Yeah, there is only so much time you can spend hanging around the water cooler.

Stop, Brutus, if the a coworker draws the boss’s wrath, let him!

If he keeps it up he won’t be burden with those long days. However Brutus that will give the boss more time to scrutinize you.

It could be a longer day in the unemployment line if you keep that up.

But how can he leave early if he doesn’t come in late?

I like to go in late and leave early to make up for it. To be honest, if I didn’t need the $$$ I’d only go a couple times a week.

So apparently they aren’t bankers keeping banker’s hours – although the background scenery doesn’t help to reveal that.

i briefly worked for a company that docked our pay if we were late punching in a couple times, but never offered to compensate us for the late nights spent entertaining customers…

ha, does he like seeing the bosses veins when he makes him mad or something.

I’d rather deal with a chewing out than a long day. Alex is doing it right.

Obviously, the guy doesn’t heed Brutus’ advice or the boss’s…he will soon be gone!

If you come in late, can you go home early?

I remember how pleasant work became when a clock-watching boss was replaced with one who believed that honest, salaried employees will earn their pay and give their 40 hours per week without being hounded to do it.

When I was working we had one director that was hell on wheels to the inner circle. People in the outer circle thought he was God!

Alex must be Brutus’s long lost brother….

Alex’s comment does make some sense, I hope it doesn’t give Brutus any ideas. He can’t afford to offend Veeblefester any more than he already does.

The days are all the the same length- -24 hours. It is up to you to fill them in with “good” works.

I was forced to be on the refueling team at a nuclear plant when I was hired as an instructor. That meant for 6 weeks or so I worked 12 he days, 6 days a week and being exempt I wasn’t paid overtime. Additionally we weren’t paid at all for the first 10 hours after 40.
