And the male fish is getting the ’ole brushoff.

the seagull and the crab both want each other dead, an interesting show, who will win this battle of wits?

Oh, Mr. Henry! You have outdone yourself! There is so much going on here, and even the boot is sentient! And the gorgeous whirly-swirly in the upper right … delicious.

Something’s sleeping in the sand. What’s going on with Amelia’s shell?

I’m thinking it’s possibly a clam snoozing in the sand, waiting for the tide to rise. Other than that, I got nothin’,

I like how Wallace imagines that the merman is holding the line in his hands and NOT hooked in the mouth. It’s like he sends the line down there for tug of war, not for fishing.

Does the worm on the hook have nothing to think? Or is it not safe to print?

Mr. Henry is truly a master when it comes to saying SO much without any actual dialogue. As soon as I got a glimpse of the strip I said today has a lot going on!
