If you were not the born loser and did every thing right you would not need a resolution.

When I was a kid, I would make the resolution to not make a New Year’s resolution. Shoot, I broke it already!

Reduced calorie foods. Pay more, get less.

Once I made such a resolution to my wife on New Year’s. I told my wife when she asked that I’ll “Resolve to stay happily married to you for the entire year without asking for a divorce!” It doesn’t count though if my wife served ME with walking papers, does it?

Calories from chips, donuts, fries, etc. don’t count because they are empty calories.

I’ve heard that drinking diet sodas makes you gain weight, not lose it. I put that to the test, once. I went back to regular sodas. Boy, did I gain weight then.

You WILL save a few dollars by doing that but eating smaller portions, that will ALSO help you drop some weight over the long run too. Good luck…..

Many people who eat “reduced calorie” foods end up eating more of them, so for once, the Born Loser is actually probably doing the right thing! What is going on here? Oh, my! He’s also giving up some additives.

Life is too short to constantly worry about things like this. If eating stuff that’s bad for me shortens my life by a few years, I’ll take that chance. I eat healthy stuff too, but I must have my pizza and Tex-Mex, too.

That’s one resolution I don’t think Brutus will have a problem keeping. :>)
