A classic! Gotta love it. While some strips get stale, others are always entertained. Who else found it funny when Nate mistook his last name for Klein. You just have to love the Sunday strips.
Why do we always see Nate learning about random US politicians no one cares about? Like everything Mrs. Godfrey teaches is about either the Revolutionary War or the Civil War. Like why can’t she teach about something interesting, like the French revolution?
Once Nate was supposed to do a report on the Republic of Cameroon, but wasn’t paying much attention, as usual, and did his report on the Republic of Cameron.
Coolidge continued Harding’s policies thereby allowing Hoover to preside over the beginning of the Great Depression and the continuing GQP fellating of the rich.

POLL: In the history of the comic, what action by Nate disappoints you most. For me, its breaking up with kelly.

You’re going to give the test whether or not Nate is ready, so why ask, Mrs. Godfrey?

I think it would be funny if Nate had to write a report on Calvin Coolidge and instead wrote about Calvin and Hobbes.

Well, honesty is the best policy! And I admit, this is pretty good.
8/10 Pretty funny joke!

Did Nate know there was a test until 10 seconds ago?

I feel like Ms.Godfrey has gotten a bit nicer or a bit less strict. And a little less favorable.

Sorry Nate any credit for you would be extra,

Good call, since there’s nothing to say about Calvin Coolidge.
When told that Calvin Coolidge was dead, Dorothy Parker said “How can they tell?”
Fox and Falco (League of Gocomics Commenters) almost 3 years ago
That sounds about right. Nate has no clue what they’re doing. This is actually reused.

Appreciate the honesty, but that won’t inflate a grade in my book.

this, at least in my opinion, is a stale joke. He executed it well though, but the humor of the “Nate didn’t study for the test” is gone for me.
