Technically, the story of the Trojan Horse isn’t part of the Iliad; that ends with Hector’s funeral, not with the fall of Troy.
Since Odysseus conceived and built the horse it’s mentioned in the Odyssey, but our main source for the story is in the (Latin) Aeneid (which of course tells of the Trojan Aeneas’s escape from Troy after its fall). There are known to have been original Greek versions, but they exist only in fragments.
There was that one classic Sunday installment of this strip years ago when Satchel thought tennis balls were edible because they “came in a Pringles can”. And Bucky’s response was, “Man, I’m about to lose it. He is SO STUPID!!!!” And we see that again today. Any doubters still out there??

Bucky, all this time you are giving the Ferret Channel good footage. Plus making it impossible to sneak up on Fungo.

Satchel’s stupidity is one of the things that makes this comic strip so enjoyable.

Satchel .. you’re more likely to see the sun in Iceland than in Greenland … better take a Geography refresher course …

If you want total darkness, go to northern Alaska. The sun comes up in Iceland in Winter. It just doesn’t hang around for more than an hour or two.

Seeing yourself as you truly are can be either a good learning experience or something to feel insulted and angry about. Your choice.

All of Iceland is below the arctic circle, except for the tiny tip of one peninsula. So they get sunlight every day, even on the winter solstice.
