The American Supremacist Heaven, also the SBC Heaven, doesn’t allow coloreds. Just in case you wondered. Separate, but equal.

The bars are only there for those who think that THEY are the ones who decide who is supposed to be up there.Which side of the bars they’re actually on is the question.

And I suspect that the bars would never exist for the Archbishop.

I think Steve Benson should write a book: “Heaven is for White People”.

He certainly deserves entry. But, there is a Covid Caravan right behind him. They will ignore the Border gate, and expect to receive full benefits of heaven once across.

At least Desmond Tutu’s in the right location. If it was me, i would happy to have made it that far. I’d much rather be standing outside the gates of Heaven, Rather than the gates of Hell.

The bars are there to keep the riff-raff out.. Should make Desmond Tutu feel right at home.

I don’t understand how anyone misinterpreted this. Seemed clear as day to me, the man would prefer there not be bars there. Jeez! BTW, the bars are ironic, are they also made of iron?

There are too many people posting comments here who should havetaken the time to at least read about Desmond Tutu, his history, and, perhaps , how political cartoonists sometimes employ irony to convey their message.

Nice. The first editorial commemoration I’ve seen of Tutu’s death.

Tutu wouldn’t be alone in any Heaven that suited him well: Very gregarious fellow. I do wonder if he’d be okay welcoming non- or anti- Christians to his Heaven. As a non-believer, I’m fine with the concept. My mother used to tell me “You’re going to be so surprised when you find yourself in Heaven!”
