They really don’t see what you see. I have learned that the way we see ourselves and the way others see us often have no relationship at all. Many’s the time I’ve wished I could see myself through my friends’ eyes.
So true. It seems absurd that they can’t see what I see. It’s a good lesson about life in general, really. It is really hard to put yourself in someone else’s shoes, hence our divided world.
