Olivia supports Ben’s argument – she doesn’t have to go anywhere. Part of the joy of walking in the snow is knowing you chose to rather than were made to.

I went for a walk when our first snowfall was just getting started and it was beautiful

It’s partially melted and refozen several times since, not as beautiful or much fun to walk through

When my wife goes for a walk she makes sure I go with her. That is 33 years of 20 minutes a day at 4 MPH. Our bodies have grown old but our legs are still young.

How about a cold refreshing walk followed by a warm refreshing nap?

If you’re going for a walk, don’t forget the snow shovel.

I’m with Ben on this. Since I no longer HAVE to go out, I’m a lot less worried about the weather. My dog is a little guy and uses pee pads. He goes outdoors only for fresh air and exercise. When the ground is too cold, my son carries him, or takes him for a short car ride.
