P4 “How about you all give me your weekly lunch money, or allowance, or after school job take-home and I will place bigger bets for bigger winnings for all of us? I know a guy we could shave points for in our games if we lose and need cash to pay our debts, what could go wrong?”
Since both the boys’ and girls’ basketball story arcs are so dull, let’s spice things up by talking about football teams from betting apps! We can make up a much more interesting story line about them!
By the end of the month Vito from Goshen will have this kid standing on the table explaining the point spread, parlays, over/under, the vig, and eventually identity theft and armed robbery.
I’m confused. He places his bet using his Debit Card. Doesn’t that limit his losses to what’s in the account? So, we have a story line about a teenager with no money. What a concept!
Ìn all reality , Kas overhears locker room talk about betting lines, parlays and other gambling terms being used by Milford players in the locker room . Does he tell Gil what he’s overheard ? Anyone, Anyone ?
That was probably the Week 10 Steelers and Lions game. Pit -9 seemed like a sure thing as well, especially when you were just picking straight up winners.
“It is a sports strip that is not just about sports, sometimes dealing with topical, teen-oriented issues.” Such as the intricacies of online football gambling, apparently.
I don’t bet on games, but you’re telling me he picked three games correctly against the spread, and he only got 6-1 odds? Vito is the worst!
I see Trevor Lawrence is not at all helping to dispel the “stupid jock” stereotype. But Tevin is forecasting the super obvious outcome that Pranit is destined for. Out of dough and maybe in the hole.
And speaking of in the hole, a new issue of Mopped Up Thorp is in the hole right now. If in the hole means available that is, which I don’t think it normally does.

There are no ties in college football, so it must be the NFL, where I think there was one tie this year, the Steelers and Lions.

P3: Tevin provides a brief moment of lucidity and prescience. How long are we going to have to wait until this train wreck happens?

If a game ends exactly on the point spread, than that is a push in the betting world.
