When I was a kid, there were no lectures. We got a liberal application of the ‘board of education’ to the ‘seat of the problem.’ This ‘going to your room’ stuff just doesn’t cut it.
“Go to your room” is really counterproductive if the kid has TV, computer, video games, and iPod all in there.
Exactly. I grew up with the problem being solved where the problem happened. Not in my room!
