The best thing Brutus could do is get the conversation back to the issue at hand. Say something like… “That’s not the point. The point we were discussing is whether or not your hairdo makes you look like a witch. Let’s just agree to disagree Broom Hilda.”

Those people who think that they know it all are annoying to those of us who actually do.

Or, in her case, from her perspective, knowing a thing, but not knowing how to teach it. We have too many knowledgeable folks on these comment sections that don’t know how to convey their facts without making the other less knowledgeable person dig in their heels in their ignorance. Good communication is rare these days.

In this case she’s right. Not knowing one is ignorant (and everyone is in many regards) leads to one being arrogant and wrong at the same time.
