I agree, the pacing is most unPetey like. Is he overcome by giddiness with the Lampooning of Viola? He better be careful, this heightened emotional state could send him into an out of body experience of multiple Petey’s. Some ceiling spot staring could be in order before the siren of the muse dashes him upon the rocks.

Why do so many monster parodies end with “-on”? Is there some classic movie monster that has that name?

Pacing, Petey! For a kid who takes a hundred pages to create tension, this is moving along a little too quickly.

Patience, Alice! A good story requires a thoughtful, careful, and slightly neurotic creator, not to mention patient fans….
