“Okay. I can’t stay right now. When you have TAKEN the time to clean, give me a call. And then I’ll see if I can clear a path in my schedule to come over again.”
We’ve had cats for 45 years and have rarely had this issue. We’ve always had a top of the line sweeper and we stay on top of it. Our friends’ house is the same. It CAN be done!
Ha….we don’t have any cats so don’t need to worry about that. Just the accumulated dust from months and the multiple remotes, sweaters, coats, mail from yesteryear, books that we’re going to read someday.
Have lived with cats and dogs my entire life and have had little trouble with hair and fur. Sweeping, vacuuming (weekly) and brushing. There are some really good brushes and curry combs available and most pets enjoy the attention. Growing up we did have one grey cloth stuffed chair where a couple of our grey-striped tabbies loved to sleep. It was in the ‘formal’ living room (as opposed to the regular one) and a great uncle would always head for that chair when he visited. He was also very ‘stuffy’ and always wore a grey suit and tie. Needless to say, we had to wipe him down every time. Luckily, he only visited a couple of times a year.

Just pet the cat to get a good static charge and drag him around to collect all that hair.

So, Mark, what did you listen to or watch, as you sat there making line after line after line?

We had a golden retriever that shed about half his body weight every day. We just gave up and got orange furniture.
