Don’t know those shows. Grew up with Sally Starr and Gene London not to metion Captain K and Mr. Longjeans I think that’s what his name was.

Pirate and Traveler was a board game produced by Milton Bradley from 1911 to 1970. So how come I never heard of it before?

Saturday morning cartoons, afternoon cartoons, reruns during summer, lots and lots of books.

Board games, with other kids. In person. Then wild bike riding through a neighborhood where everyone knew you. Saltine crackers and catsup were a legitimate afternoon ‘treat’. Though I did prefer them with butter. Real butter. (still do)

We grew up before TV, we had comic books and street hockey and my grandfather reading Winnie the Pooh from the Montreal paper
