TG for the medical insurance I do have, at the cost of $200 per month. Fairly cheap I know. The cost of the med I do take is $8000 per dose. I get to pay $40 of that up to $600 per year. After that no charge.

Well, is congress would grow-up, stop arguing about petty things, and get off their hypocritical @ss’s, and do something about the high drug prices and allowing Medicare to negotiate prices, it would help.

Or.. buying more pills than he needs. The last thing a plugger wants to do is die with a medicine chest full of unused pills. Waste not want not.. has been his life’s motto and he wants that to last to the very end.

It takes the first two or three months of the year for me to reach my prescription drug deductible before full coverage, minus co-pay, kicks in. But at least I only have to pay the plan prices, and not the full cost. IIRC the insurance company negotiated the drug prices with their preferred pharmacies, and not the drug companies. By combining all of their customers with Individual & Family, Employer-based, and Medicare plans they were able to obtain fairly reasonable prices for most drugs.

Amen to that……

Just this year my Medicare-Humana started getting me my generic medications sent to my home for free.
