I LOVE IT! I used to yell “Frimmin at the jim-jam, frippin in the krotz” just to see if there were any Wiz fans around. Great ice-breaker at party! If there weren’t any, I got some strange looks, I did…
I admit I had to look it up, TVtropes came up with the information as well as a lot of info I never knew, Spooks full name is Wellington J. Farnsworth Spookingdorf the Third.
Actually, I believe the entire phrase is his trademark. It’s the name of a paperback book of his published in the early eighties. In my youth, I had a collection of Wizard of Id and BC books…about 25-30. Has always been one of my favorite strips.
Wow, I haven’t seen a classic Wizard of Id incantation like that in a long, long time. They’ve been using the Harry Potter faux Latin stuff for ages now.

So…. How do you sue a wizard for infringement? And in what court? And in who’s venue do you sue in?

Imagine is all the writers trademarked all the “words” they come up with to convey different sounds.

“Frammin at the Jim-Jam, Fippin at the Krotz”: It has got to be an old school Wizard of Id incantation.
