Rule #1.. never point a gun at something you are not going to shoot.
A little air gun oil down the barrel and cocking it and shooting it with the barrel pointed straight up would probably do wonders for it’s performance. The cylinder seal in old air guns become dry and loses the ability to hold air.

I possess an air rifle, that is suppose to use plastic pellets. I have no idea where to buy any, or why I would want to.
