Generally, I loathe the mass food processing system with huge feed lots, feeding cattle things they never should be fed, and such.
But, take a look at all that crap in those “meat substitutes” and so many are not lower in fat, and are exceeding high in the amount of sodium in them.
It is fairly easy to find good meat raised and harvested humanely if that is a concern. My personal favorite is grass fed, grass finished bison. Costs more, however it is far better for a person and the environment if that is your gig.
