I got a letter from the power company last week about my payment. For reasons no one understands, my credit union cannot do a fund transfer and has to cut and mail a check. This is the same credit union and the same power company I’ve been dealing with for 25+ years and five residences. All prior bills were paid electronically, but this house the CU can’t. Anyway, the check cleared my account the day I got the letter.

As a bird I would guess he has wing, leg and thigh meat that is dark.

Cosmo was delighted.

Funny.

Fortunately, I just paid my monthly electric bills – $29.00 for our house in the city and $5.99 for the casa de campo in the country.

BTW our water & sewer bill for the house in the city is always $10.99 per month; a 15 gal. canister of gas for cooking is $3.00; a 22 Litre jug of drinking water is $1.60. The biggest utlility monthly cost is the TV/Internet cable which runs $85 monthly – more expensive than our national health insurance payments which are only $83 per month for the both of us!

And Cosmo is pretty low-powered to boot.

A fishhawk’s back is its dark side, so Cosmo’s jacket would be covering that up. Although the tops of his tail feathers should be dark, too.

Cosmo she wants a bad boy type of guy, not a bad memory type of guy.

He’s also had his tail feathers singed a few times.

Man that is the sob story of the year, what is a 5 pence worth?

I think Cosmo’s “dark side” has a more lunar aspect.

Huh, I didn’t know his bill was electric?
