@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny <our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’s location finding being paired with boozing places is priceless , my avatar again is my birth sign Leo roaring his head off because he’s in a fairly good mood like I am , how was your day? our FINALLY FRIDAY should be quite hectic , anything that could go wrong has , but we should cope I hope , the gas cylinder died as soon as we were going to have a cuppa tea , but we are in a fairly good mood , no shopping to do or errands to run , just stay inside the house because it’s freezing outside , keep hydrated and wait till this evening when I will have my fav nosh, keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady.
In reference to yesterday’s strip: It turns out that Crafty Monkey is a real brewing company in Hartlepool. So it seems they were getting advertising (paid?) on yesterday’s strip.
I’m sure that’s there are a hundred Park Taverns throughout the world, but if you ever get a chance to go to London, definitely put the Park Tavern at 212 Merton Road London SW18 5SW, on your list of pubs to visit. Great pub and restaurant. Well worth the stop!
If the job location is near a pub, Andy will never make past the pub to the job interview. If the job location isn’t near a pub he will never find it. Our boy Andy has this situation well in hand.
Google Maps is your friend. I’ve always found it a great resource when I’ve needed to find places. What helps the most is being able to ‘walk’ up the street so I know the route.
Great news! Our Mini Hub (portable WiFi router) arrived today and I was able to set it up easily. We now have WiFi. Whoo hoo!
My friend couldn’t meet up with me today so I went to my favourite beach instead. It was very cold. Also, I’m not going to my Auntie’s tomorrow as she is loaded with cold. So it looks like it’s going to be another week before I see my friend and Auntie.
Sigh.
Enjoy your favourite nosh today, pal. Stay safe, stay well, stay warm and stay happy. See you after the weekend.

Andy has no sense of direction of anywhere in town save the pubs.

Andy could never be a lawyer because he cannot pass the bar!

That’s how all Brits give directions; from pub to pub.

Mr Capp only got as far as Park Tavern. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

The lazy bum spent so much time in the tavern that he missed the job interview!!

You can bet that if Andy goes to that pub first, he’ll never make it to that job interview!

As you know, getting a new job is no walk in the Park…unless you’re Andy Capp!

He has to give directions so that everyone can understand them.

He’s allergic to red brick buildings on Grange road.

Maybe he should try and get work at the nearest Grange.

As far as Andy is concerned, all roads lead to the Pub. (Or the bookies, sometimes.)
