The fishing at the start of the strip reminds me of the last bass I caught on Lake Okeechobee many, many years ago. When I landed it I thought I had snagged another reed. So, did my Dad. Never had a bass sit like that and not move for a while, but when it did, did it ever. Took some time to reel that fish in. Was far from Okeechobee’s record, or even my own, but at 14.2 lbs was still a nice fish.
