Considering how hard she fights for attention, I think her home is not fully drawn. At best it is only a few hasty sketches. And her parents have probably not been developed at all.
I see a problem here with the teacher sending Amelia to the principal’s office. Can’t the teacher talk to Amelia in private about how she acts out her feelings of meanness, disdain, whatever? Or call a parents conference to discuss the issue at the source? Kickin’ the can ain’t solvin’ dis.
