Odd that the guy who looks like he hasn’t groomed himself since last Aboriginal Day is passing judgement.

No, this comic needs a better punch line. Ideas anyone? Maybe the whole last panel…

First day of Spring…..Time to give my dog a bath, but it will have to wait for a warmer day. It’s snowing and sleeting outside right now and he really needs a bath.

Think Rob would rather deal with a wet Satchel than Bucky’s novel.

Cat’s actually have deodorizing compounds in their saliva. You cannot hunt by stealth if you smell like dead rodent.

I have had 3 beagles and none of them have ever had the “wet dog” smell, which I am well familiar with from non-beagle dogs I have owned. We often get soaked from rain or snow on long dog walks, and a quick wipe with a microfiber towel leaves me with a great smelling dog. I often get compliments on how often I must bathe her (twice in 5 years), but I just say that it must have rained recently. I don’t know why beagles don’t get the wet dog smell, but it could be that my dogs never rolled in anything, since they were on leash or in a well-maintained dog run in the past. I don’t get why a dog would smell worse when bathed, but I know many do, until they are dry.
