No i didn’t fix it. Yes i put it out of it’s misery.

It’s a great feeling destroying those HP money grabbing monsters. They last just about two troubled years. Finally talked wife into an Epson ink tank printer. HP used to be a great company. Founders must be spinning….

Percussive Maintenance… not always fruitful, but always satisfying

I gave up my last printer several years ago. I found I can easily live without one. Anything important can be printed some place where I can pay them a small fee and they can maintain their machines any way they want to. I think I got my first printer in the early 90s, so it’s not like I don’t know how to use one. A few went out the window.

Inkjet ink is not a printing technology, it’s a fiscal scheme.

Might as well. The price of a replacement ink cartridge is just slightly less than replacing the whole shebang.

I prefer the Hello Kitty Pink Baseball Bat method to Maxwell’s Silver Hammer. Just saying.

I have 5 printers hooked up to my desktop computer. When I want to get a new printer, the first thing I do is check ink or toner cost.
