I commented on last week’s strip, but as it was days after it had been posted, I doubt that many saw it.

I just wondered if the new Netflix show “Murderville” was infringing on Carol’s trademark.

Dad: "And I totally did so coin “Bee-otch”, Bee-otch."

The son looks so free now. Growing up with such a father was surely terrible.

Slam the lid down and bury his ass any way.

First clue: dead men don’t write their own obituatries. Dad clearly wrote his, and supplied it to the paper himself.

Reminds me of Albert Finney and Billy Crudup in “Big Fish”. Pretty good movie from about 20 years back……

Trump?

Gone to Republican* heaven.

My dad was not a nice guy, especially to his kids. He was truthful but he had some other things going for him. For his memorial my brother, sister, and I talked about ambiguous things we could say about him to his co-workers and others who weren’t family. “He was one of a kind.” “They threw away the mold.” “He was amazing.” There were lots more.

I was asked to speak at my mother’s funeral. “Ding dong the witch is dead” was about as far as I got. She was an abusive alcoholic who physically tortured and mutilated me and was worse when she was sober. I still have difficulty saying anything beyond “Kill them slowly with fire” when discussing penalties for such people, including pedophiles.

Love this.

Many scary anthologies on tv would have an episode like this, one in a humorous vein.
