Hey, Affie.

I’m sad to say I never went to the carvery today like I originally planned. We are currently having another storm which scuppered my plans. If I had somebody to drive me there and back, I would have went. Before you suggest a taxi, I have a feeling that will cost more than my bill at the carvery! I rarely take taxis. I came close to getting one a few months back when the bus was late and it was cold and dark.

Anyway, I’ve booked for next month instead. Also on the 16th.

My friend has invited me to his house next Thursday and I plan to meet my other friend early next week and then my friend from school on the Friday. It looks like I will be seeing all 3 friends in the same week. I feel very fortunate.

Stay safe, stay well, stay warm and stay happy, pal. Please spare a prayer for the UK. 2022 has been nothing but storms so far.
