I’m a sucker for the REALLY oldies, like It Happened One Night, Bringing up Baby, or Pillow Talk.
I also like some just kinda oldies like Tootsie, An Officer and a Gentleman, and Sleepless in Seattle. I also like the dramady movies like Terms of Endearment and Steel Magnolias.
Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton in “Taming of the Shrew”. “A Room with a View”, “The Quiet Man”. " Everafter". Franco Zefferelli’s “Romeo & Juliet”. That’s off the top of my head…Loved “Steel Magnolia’s”, but, it wasn’t romantic, just loving & caring & supportive. And, in a very odd, quirky way, I loved how Corbin Benson fell in love with Leelah in “The Fifth Element”!!!
