I had one cable guy try to stay the weekend (it was NOT an option and he had received no encouragement whatsoever; plus, I had to explain some of the process to him to hook up cable in my then-new home). The next one left his tools here, left dirty fingerprints all over my walls and tried to get into my attic through my bedroom closet (he had no reason to get up there), and when I called for a manager, he came and washed off the prints, apologized for the drooling jerk that came here – literally drooling – (that was the second one) and I handed the manager the tool pack on his way out. Every single time I have had a cable guy out they put in a new line in the back. I bet there are a dozen of them now. I think where I live is a training area.

And, I know he won’t lie. He once told me that he’d be at my house between 8 AM and 5 PM…he arrived at 4:55 PM so he was right!
