If he wanted to be left alone after a long hard day at work, he should have gotten a cat. Play with the dog for a few minutes, a few “Who’s a good doggie?” questions a milk bone or snausage, then enjoy your beverage.

Your lap is warm the dog bed is not ;-)

I think someone is about to have his leg rest pulled out from under him!

When you have a dog, you get a sofa. Then you can each have a favorite spot.

Pull the dog bed closer. He may yet go for it.

Someone will have to give. It would be interesting to know which gave in first.

If you want the best seat in the house, you will have to move the dog.
