Wow. I’ve never seen a cat drink coffee or tea. They sniff the “bowl” and turn away in disgust. Our current kitten hasn’t given up hope. She sniffs the coffee “bowls” every day.
I once left a box of Sleepy Time Tea open on the kitchen counter and went into another room while waiting for the water to boil. When I came back into the kitchen, my dearly departed Jasper had knocked the box off the counter, torn the tea bags open, and was rolling in the leaves. When I read the box, I discovered that catnip was one of the ingredients.

Leaf water too hot for Pippin. But he seems to “heart” it.

Pippin is smart after all. Good description of green tea.

My late, great Steve-cat liked valerian tea. He sniffed the dry stuff and tried to lick it. He drank the tea.
