When I was a kid I knew what it was to be grabbed out of a bathtub, beaten until I bled and then lifted over my dad’s head and thrown threw the air and bouncing off my bedroom wall. No complaints because those experiences allowed me to work with gangs and save a few lives.
I wrote this to say that what kept me sane was grabbing my fishing rod and walking with my springer spaniels into the woods. My dogs always were there for me and they always listened. Thanks Rover!
