Steam shot out of her ears – isn’t that the point of drinking coffee?

Well, Adam it IS an acquired taste for a lot of people. I used to hate it. Now I drink some just about every morning. I wouldn’t say I love it, but I like it, especially when it’s flavored coffee.

I wonder what Adam’s reaction was when HE first tasted coffee.

Was he instantly hooked, as it appears Katy is?

It’s like beer. Use the five sip rule. Give it five sips, then decide whether you like the taste.

Bad enough to have two kids (thinking Nick’s still too young) hooked on sugar and junk food, now adding caffeine to the blood stream, Adam is wise (should he continue to refuse another sip) to cut her off now.

I had peppers like that: you would feel your face turn red and the wax melt in your ears. Man do I ever miss them…

Curled a couple of her little hairs, I noticed.

She just wants to spit in your cup.

I was stuck in the office for a little while one morning; a fellow asked me to make some coffee. They never asked again. I made my special brew: I used the correct amount of coffee for me and added half-again with black pepper.

She’ll be jonesing a feen in no time..

Well, that addiction happened quick. Pretty soon she’ll be eating chocolate covered coffee beans and slumming down at Star Bucks. …sigh. They grow so fast.

A strange father daughter relationship?

It was the napalm that got her.

Katie starts chanting “It is by caffeine alone I set my mind into motion. It is by the beans of Java the thoughts acquire speed…”

Look at her wrecked hair.

It’s an acquired taste for sure. Same for me with bourbon. Can’t believe there was a time I hated it.

I prefer some decaf, which doesn’t make me jittery.
