It means “Dark Shadow” in Irish, but so far as I know, it’s not the name of some monster.
NEVER upset the elderly….we DO indeed get peeved! Or as my very proper mother said when she was really annoyed, we get PO’d.
Finish the story, Spud! What happened? Where is the monster now??
“Neptune” appears ready to take on the monster!
Hilleary: “Because the window was there.”
Rhode Island winter and exposed pipes. Need I say more?
Wallace: “I’VE GOT TO SEE THAT!!!”
And it seems a mystery has been solved for dad, why the pipes still freeze every year.
That must be one big ass root cellar.
Love the defensive stance on the Colossus and the building on the far right that looks like a candle
For Wallace, that’s reverse psychology!
The seagulls perched on Neptune don’t seem too concerned.
MRS. FERNBY WAS ABKE TO SUMMONS AKU?!?!?!??
If only everyone would adhere to Spud’s final admonition…
I don’t know if dad’s statement is just a statement of fact or a realization of why his pipes have been freezing.
I like that reason for why pipes freeze much better than what I thought it to be…..
Better just do the reverse then and save a snowball to throw in July or something.
Beware the Dubhar. Where does Will get these names?
I see that tale scared Seagull away.
Another fantastic scene from your imagination Mr Henry!
Of the almost 100 comics I read daily on GoComics Wallace the Brave is consistently the most creative
Rule #1. Don’t summon it if you can’t control it. Summoning C’thulhu hissef might sound like a good idea, but once ole Cuthy is there, then what?
