I’m not familiar with that strip….doesn’t seem to be accessible through GoComics. It was never carried in my local NY Suburban paper when I lived there. I’m always looking for new strips to follow. (Love drinking coffee at 4am and reading the comics). LOL
Must have been a dopey southern cal paper. my SF paper carries rhymes with orange and hasn’t ever carried your dopey strip. They did just drop Baby Blues, but thankfully GoComics has it.

The San José Mercury-News carried both strips, but it has been about 10 years since I read that paper.
