As we prepare for yet another semi-annual episode of collective national insanity, let me point out to all prospective candidates for Congress that your one sure-fire campaign issue that would rally support from the entire political spectrum would be to end forever the confusing, useless, expensive, and totally ineffective switching back and forth from Daylight Saving to ironically named “Standard” Time. For the love of God, just PICK ONE and stick to it!
Here it is: everything his followers who piled in 2016 said was lies, lies, lies from the democrats. All to make him look bad and help Hillary. But Trudeau was already laying it out long before. Everything they didn’t want to be true WAS true, but they so badly wanted an uncensored tough guy to come out swinging punches for them.
I talked to a guy once who said he was having a fling with his secretary and while talking to her on the phone she kept asking him to give her a raise and he kept saying he couldn’t do it. Finally a third voice said, “Come on, buddy, give her the damn raise.” true story.
I recently joined Facebook for reasons I won’t get into. I don’t like most social media and really didn’t want to, but did. One of the things I’ve realized is that I don’t want to know how many of my friends and colleagues from decades past have drunk the orange Kool-Aid. It just sickens me to read their posts and realize they think tRump is a good leader, as one recently said, or anything else besides the truth. tRump is a stupid, no class, racist, misogynist, malignant narcissist who did irreparable damage to this nation. And this is coming from a conservative republican. But he’s got such a cult following that I don’t bother debating the point. Biden isn’t the best, but he’s so much better and better for the nation than tRump was, and I can’t stand seeing people I know bash Biden and praise tRump. Isn’t it funny how for the first years of his administration, tRump blamed anything that went wrong on the previous administration, yet here we are just a few months into Biden’s second year, and tRump and his supporters don’t give Biden the same leeway? It’s all Biden’s fault, they say. Never mind that it really isn’t. How can anyone think tRump was a good leader after he publicly stated that he doesn’t “take responsibility” for things that were clearly and legally his responsibility? That’s a good leader? The hypocrisy astounds me. As if I needed more proof that we’re in trouble because of this, a friend recently got into a conversation at the gas pumps with a guy (wearing a MAGA hat, I should add) who said that the high gas prices were Biden’s fault. My friend asked why, that POTUS doesn’t set gas prices, to which the man replied that “of course he does.” The man was literally blaming Biden for personally setting gas prices where they are. I don’t know if it’s his cult-like support of a deeply flawed man, or his lack of education or critical thinking skills, or some combination of the three, but if that’s an average man on the street, heaven help this nation.

I hope tomorrow’s strip (NOT a rerun) will return to Trump’s funeral.
It’ll be interesting to see if Duke and Earl will attend.

Trump would hire foreigners for his hotels because he said Americans have no class. When it comes to a judge of NO CLASS, Trump can’t be excelled!!

The carpenter’s union in DC used to hire the homeless to picket buildings that didn’t use their union members and make a ton of noise.

Do they have to pass a drivers test first?

I doubt there are any homeless people who are more morally deficient and less worthy of respect as Trump or any of his cronies.

He’s still trying to figure out why all those homeless people don’t just start their own limo services with their parents’ money.
