When I was a kid computers were big electronic machines that we never saw that were kept in rooms in banks and other institutions.

When I was a kid, valve (in UK, tube in US?) radios were still big business!

When I got my first full time job we were still using slide rules.

When I was a kid, we didn’t have computers in the home.

Not only did you have to turn it on from the back but you had to boot the PC from a 3.5" diskette.

Who had a computer??? TV and radio was the thing, when I was a kid!!!

When I was young, I had to walk all the way over to the tv to change it to the only other channel.

Feh. My Commodore 64 had the on switch on the SIDE. :D :D :D

When I was a kid I played outside.
